Rosa Loves… Burgers, cocktails, and superheroes.
My husband and I have been craving Palena burgers for a few weeks now so that’s where we went for date night this past Saturday. A few years ago, when we were still pretty new to the city, my husband stumbled upon an article about the best burgers in the country and within a few minutes we got on the train and visited Palena for the very first time. It was the best burger we’ve had in years. It’s a simple burger, but it’s rich, full of flavor, and cooked to perfection. On Saturday night, we shared the pea salad to start our meal followed by the heavenly cheese burgers. Over dessert and cocktails, my husband and I were having a serious discussion about superhero movies and since we happened to be steps away from the historic Uptown Theater, we decided to go to see The Avengers for the second time. After the movie, we walked to Ardeo/Bardeo where we continued our conversation over prosecco and dirty martinis. It was kind of the perfect date night.
