Rosa Loves… A two-day marathon of her favorite TV show.
I loved this weekend. It was extremely hot and we stayed indoors most of the time, but there was a two-day marathon of the Walking Dead. It was the perfect time to get some stuff done around the apartment while watching some awesome television. Woohoo!
On Saturday morning I ran errands and picked up some supplies to prepare for a weekend full of zombies. Cupcakes and other baked goods were top priority on my list. You might be thinking, ‘wait, there’s only cheesecake in these photos’. Well, it was so hot in DC that the icing on the cupcake melted by the time I got home. I had planned accordingly and Frosting (the bakery I visited) was my last stop, but the heat was so intense that it didn’t matter. Fortunately, the cheesecake made it just fine and while the cherry cupcake didn’t look pretty anymore, I still ate it and it was delicious.
Since the second season of the show was focused on searching for Sophia (if you watch the show you know what I’m talking about), I got some Sofia sparkling wine. In my opinion, bubbly is essential for a TV show marathon specially on a hot day.
Lola is also a fan of the show because we get to sit on the couch and spend time together. She really enjoys napping next to me when I am watching television. She spent a lot of time in that pillow and loved it.
