Rosa Loves… Fabulous stories and excellent food.

As I mentioned in my previous post, my friend Anna and I went to Poste for dinner last Friday and we had a wonderful time. We had a lot to catch up on and as always, it was fun to hear all her stories about her most recent trip (Anna, please take Lola and me with you next time!). Of course, there were plenty of bubbly and food that evening. I had the foie gras torchon with brulee figs followed by a perfectly cooked vegetable risotto. You know I love a good dessert and the blackberry and peach tart didn’t disappoint. The tart was a bit larger than expected, but that wasn’t a problem; I took the leftovers home and devoured it the very next day. I only have one word to describe my meal: Amazing. I mean, I am still thinking about that foie gras torchon, it was that good.

One thing that I tend to ask when I walk into a restaurant is whether I can be seated near a window or at a well-lighted table. Sometimes I get a strange look but that wasn’t the case on Friday night. The folks at Poste were incredibly accommodating to my request. So thank you Poste for allowing to take decent photos of my dinner.

Fabulous stories, excellent food, and good lighting for photos certainly make for a great Friday night.
