Rosa Loves… To share a few snapshots of her week.
As a new week starts, I thought I would tell you a few things that I’ve been up to:
1. Yep, I voted. I still remember the very first time I went to the polls to vote, I couldn’t sleep the night before and I think my grandmother was more excited than me. You see, voting was extremely important to her. As kids we would sometimes go with her and she would always tell us how we had to do the same when we grew up. She never missed an election. So every time I vote, I think of her.
2. Rebecca and I went for a little shopping in Friendship Heights. She was on a mission: getting a new glittery nail polish and doing some research before buying a new pair of booties for the winter. I spotted these beautiful roses while we were at Neiman Marcus.
3. Friday night, I went to see Skyfall with Apollina and her husband Brad. If you haven’t seen it, run to the movie theater as soon as you possibly can. It’s so good, I might have to go see it again and again. After the movie, we went to Palena for some food and cocktails. And of course, I added a little sparkle to my outfit before our Friday night activities.
4. On Saturday morning, I decided to go to the Phillips Collection to check out the Per Kirkeby exhibit. His work caught my attention because he’s not only a talented artist, but also a geologist. After admiring the interesting bronze sculptures and striking paintings, I took a coffee break at the museum before heading out to continue with my day.
And that was my week. Hope you all have a fabulous week and can you believe Thanksgiving time is almost here?
