Rosa Loves… Impeccable Menswear and Hal Rubenstein.

Another week, another fabulous fashion event in DC. Love it! Last week, Apollina and I attended a book signing with Hal Rubenstein, Fashion Director of InStyle magazine and author of ‘Gentry Man: A Guide for the Civilized Male’ and ‘100 Unforgettable Dresses’. I was a bit shy and nervous when approaching Mr. Rubenstein to sign my book but he was very nice and charming and he even took the time to pose for me for a photo. It certainly made my week!

The reception took place at the Alton Lane showroom in Dupont Circle and we had such a wonderful evening with yummy cocktails and lovely conversation with friends and other DC bloggers. Among the many different topics of conversation were obviously menswear and bow ties (Eliot, bow tie enthusiast was also there). Being surrounded by all those impeccably dressed men that evening has really sparked my interest in men’s fashion a bit more. That and the fact that in the last few months I’ve met some gentlemen in DC with great sense of style.
