Rosa Loves… Coming home after a long day.

Yesterday was a long day but I have to say that coming home to a super cute doggie was the best thing in the world. We spent our evening together cuddling in the couch reading magazines and working on a post for next week. Of course Lola got a couple of very long belly rubs and she was a happy girl.

Rosa Loves… A quiet weekend at home.

Towards the end of week, I came down with a sinus infection so that meant I had to change my plans for the weekend. But staying at home was great after the sinus headache was gone; I had some macarons to indulge on, magazines and catalogs to read, Pinterest boards to organize, and a doggie willing to take long naps with me. I also played around a bit with my camera and snapped some photos of my favorite muse and model. I have to say that Lola’s modeling portfolio is looking pretty strong.

Tell me about your weekend. Did you do anything fun in this beautiful weather?

Rosa Loves… To spend a rainy night at home.
What’s the best thing to do on a rainy night? That’s easy; I love staying at home reading magazines, catching up with friends on the phone or FaceTime, and cuddling with my doggie. What about you?

NOTE: I will be taking a Spring mini-break and I will be back with regular posts later next week. Have a wonderful weekend!

neutral home accents

Rosa Loves… Neutral Home Accents.

About two weeks ago, I started to feel the urge to visit IKEA. Interestingly, this happened right after going to the movies to see The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and listening to Jonathan Coulton’s IKEA song while in the car. Weird. So before the end of my holiday break, I went to my closest IKEA and picked up a couple of items for the apartment. I found a furry rug for my bedroom and a cute white fruit bowl for the kitchen. And both items go just perfect with the rest of my neutral home accents. I guess you can say I am going through a ‘neutral’ phase in terms of home decor.

1. West Elm square tray

2. IKEA bowl

3. Anthropologie monogrammed mug

4. IKEA sheepskin rug

5. Container Store lacquered box

6. Crate & Barrel dog mat
