Rosa Loves… Summer shorts.
Shorts have never been a big part of my wardrobe. I usually have issues finding the perfect fit and up until a couple of weeks ago, I only had two pairs of shorts in my closet. I was visiting my mothership (aka J.Crew) and I found a gorgeous blouse that I wanted to try on with some mint pants. Since there were no mint pants available at the store, the sales lady gave a pair of cotton shorts, just so I could see the color combination. Well, as I stepped out of the dressing room, I could barely contain my excitement when I saw that the fit was incredible. Yes, they came home with me along with an orange pair. Now I think I am ready for summer!

Rosa Loves… Rocking the neon trend.
Lately, I’ve been adding a little neon to my outfits: neon safety glasses while working at the bench during the week and a neon necklace at brunch with friends on the weekend. I certainly think the neon goes well with my white lab coat and my favorite stripe dress, don’t you agree?

Rosa Loves… Neon Pink and Cherry Red.
A few weeks ago, I decided to add a little neon pink to my wardrobe. However, I wasn’t sure about what lipstick would go best with neon pink. I tweeted Lara of the Glossarie and she came to my rescue: nude, baby pink and cherry red were her top picks. I was intrigued with the cherry red option since I love red lipstick but most of the ones I have are a bit more coral or orange. So I followed Lara’s suggestion and after trying on a couple of cherry red lipsticks, I fell in love with Cherry Lush from the Tom Ford Beauty line and I couldn’t be happier with my choice as it not only solves my neon pink dilemma, it also goes so well with any shade of pink. Thank you Lara, you are indeed the ‘beauty whisperer’.

Can a woman have too much leopard in her closet? NEVER! I love these super comfortable Sam Edelman loafers and they will be my signature shoe for the Fall season.

Rosa Loves… Metallic shoes.
Ever since I saw these gorgeous metallic leather heels in the Fall 2011 Club Monaco lookbook, I’ve been obsessed. I think these would be the perfect addition to my Fall wardrobe as they could be worn with skirts, trousers and wide leg jeans!

Rosa Loves… The perfect summer skirt.
A few weeks ago I tried on a super cute striped skirt at a local boutique. I loved it but I was unsure about how to style it and I was on a quick lunch break so I went back to my office without buying it. Then this week, Taylor from Sterling Style and Glitter Guide, posted this incredibly fun outfit featuring the very same skirt I tried on. I literally ran to the store after work and guess what? The skirt was still there and it was even on sale. Yay! Using Taylor outfit as inspiration, I will be wearing my new summer skirt with a bright color blouse and my favorite pair of Mary Janes this weekend.
